GCSE Intensive student Shadae (furthest right), who has been volunteering for the charity Nomad since July 2018, performed a leading role in the performance of "The Unwritten Tales of the Tongue" which took place at the Camden Theatre last Wednesday evening.
The play is an interconnected showcase of visual art, poetry, drama and music using the participants' living knowledge as people from refugee and migrant backgrounds to challenge myths surrounding migration and immigration in the world today.
The play was extremely successful and well received, with positive feedback from Oona Chaplin, MPs, charities workers and young people in attendance.
The charity hopes to tour the performance around schools and colleges in the next year.

Great work Shadae!
